Snoopy and Mr. Rotti next door have been eyeballing each other through the mesh fence.
My neighbours house is quite close to ours eg both at the top of a ridge in undulating country.
He rigged up a running wire between 2 large trees so Rotti can run for about 30 metres parallel
to our fence line. Yay.
Snoopy has not been comfortable with this but I always spoke calmly to him saying Rotti needs to run and play also.
So after a few days of consistent eyeballing the shite hit the fan.
Rotti got over excited yesterday and broke the wire ran up to the fence and luckily the shrubs prevented
anyone from jumping or it would have been a very bad situation. After a big argument they both calmed down and
I took Snoopy inside.
I have covered the fence with weedmat as it is not see through like shadecloth.
I cannot think of what else to do, I suppose I will find out tomorrow if I have done the right thing.
The neighbour also went out this morning and bought some timber, I could hear him drilling into masonry
so he must be doing his own fortifications. He has never spoken to us ever (his brother was the sociable one
but he has moved out now.) He lives alone and the Rotti is his only companion.
So I suppose my question is - are they better off being able to see out or not?
