I've got that affliction too. You want to see me melt when it rains, right into the couch in front of the fire.
Dogs get booted outside and I shut the door until I think they have all done what they should have done and then let them in again. Quick towel dry so they don't drip water all over the nice clean tiled floor and all's good.

The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.
Walking the dogs in the rain is my favourite time to walk them. I love rain. And it helps that most ppl dont walk their dogs in the rain so its less stressful for us.
We dont bother with coats but they do get a extra vigorous drying when we get home.
[QUOTEHe is Rottweiler size :P I'm not sure how much he'd appreciate me dressing him up haha! Can picture the look i'm going to get.][/QUOTE]
I just ordered Molly some Waterproof boots. You can't imagine how well that is going to go down with her i'm ready to be challenged as she can be a stubborn little cow when she wants! I'm over dealing with her wet feet - they're like polar bear feet and take forever to dry with the blow dryer. I'd rather deal with the snickering from passerbyers to be quite frank if it means saving around 45mins in my day not having to deal with those paws!
I have just got back from walking in the pouring rain/dark, we've been out for an hour in it. It is now 7am.
during that hour, they also went swimming accross the lake, a morning bath for both pooches, is insisted upon by them.
The walk is fast pace, off leash, includes a swim, a bit of very ineffective rabbiting by the worst hunting dogs in the world. And when we get back..... First thing they both do is jump in their paddling pool to rinse their muddy feet.
The rottie then collapses over a warm heating vent, and Bernie lays down on the deck to cool off.
So if you have a dog that needs pyjamas, perhaps you should consider a rub down with a towel before you leave for work etc.
Dogs, like humans, have waterproof skin.
