So why did you "have to have Chase put down"...not 2 days ago you were saying he wouldn't be PTS.

When you post on a public forum and you don't give clear reason to why you are giving up one dog and not the other. Especially when the dog you want to give up is the dog with issues, then most people will come to their own conclusion it is a normal human thing to do.

Lots of members on this forum (including myself) gave you lots of good advice, even after you had already had goes at us.

I hope you find your other dog.

    RIP Chase.

I am re instating Wins account. I think this person was in a state of grief and felt attacked.

I agree Pugger. No matter what happened, I think we should all show compassion for someone who had to have their dog PTS.

But thanks Jadie for editing that post.

I think we should all let it be now. I don't think they will be back, but if they do, I would not want to add to their grief.

I agree with Win, I thought it all looked a bit judgemental.

A few statements made that "if you cant be bothered dealing with his issues" and others to that effect. Win didnt even say that was why the dog was being rehomed.

Win, I am sorry to hear Chase was PTS, was he sick or soemthing else?

I hope you find your other dog soon!

I don't understand why the OP was questioned on why their dog was PTS. I thought that was highly inconsiderate & frankly uncalled for - what were your intentions for asking K&P?

I have my fingers crossed that your other dog has been returned home safely and my deepest sympathies in regards to Chase.

Not that I need to answer to you Kuri, seeing as this is a public forum but the reason I asked was because this is the post that the OP posted in reply to Hya's suggestion that it may be kinder to take Chase to her own vet and have him PTS.

Less than a day later the OP had put the dog to sleep.
The OP then proceeded to abuse other forum members, all of which who had provided many constructive ideas on how to help the dog.

I also find it strange that I am the only person who was questioned as to my "intentions" on asking why the dog was PTS when just above your post Kuri, Lala asked the exact same question.
My intention was exactly what the question suggests, finding out why the dog was PTS when 1 day earlier the OP stated he wouldn't be....
