Oh cripes poor bugger. Where abouts is the dog situated? If it is a papered dog I would be telling them to get onto the Breeders. Also tell them not to advertise him free to good home. At least put a price on him so it may weed out some of the idiots.

Plesase make them aware of the current issues going on with some Councils regarding the registering of Amstaffs and it would be terrible if he were to go somewhere unsafe.

If papered then the Breeder should be contacted and being so young he should not be too difficult to rehome. It is more making sure he goes to a home that are well educated on the breed and also the current BSL issues which are making it difficult to own an Amstaff.

Are you able to find out why the dog needs to be rehomed?

As Bully said, don't advertise him as 'free'.
A free Amstaff? Not a good combination.
He's so gorgeous though. I don't think its fair that your friend gets the dog and then dumps him when he can't be handled...
