Default Roxy - Staffy x Boxer - Need of a New Home

    Hello all,

Roxy - Staffy x Boxer, 4 Years old, De-sexed, Microchipped, all Vaccinations are up to date, No health issues. She has a great temperament, good with other dogs, children, loves people. She has a short coat and is generally a low maintenance dog. Very goofy nature and is very loving and loyal. She does need daily walks exercise and would also be fine in an apartment. She has very unique markings - Golden, white, and black brindle, and would be a great addition to the family or as a companion.

I am moving back to England in a few weeks and need to find her a home ASAP!

If you know of anyone, has any info, or you are interested please contact 0419 558 007 / willvds@hotmail.com

    Many thanks

    Will - NSW

Can you not take her with you? That's what most people I know who have to move countries do.

Otherwise - a notice up at your regular vet and maybe your kids school would help
    and following these instructions

Yep a friend did the same trip in reverse and just picked up his dog from quarantine here. You could investigate, for me it would be like leaving my kid behind.

Good luck with it Will......... just be real sure to suss out any new owners mate as there are scumbags out there want breeds like Roxy as 'Bait' dogs or training dogs for thier fighting dogs. Dont be afraid to put a price on her mate as it will discourage them from been interested her.
It's a real problem so dont think it wont happen to her......please suss them out good and proper.

Good luck to both of you.

'Will83' - I am really sorry to read that you need to rehome your pup ! Some decisions we have to make sometimes are really the pits !

Roxy looks a lovely pup from the photos, with beautiful colouring and markings. I definitely have a soft spot for the breed mix !

    Some suggestions for you:

The co-ordinators mentioned in the first 2 links – if they can’t help you directly – will offer you a lot of very useful and sound advice to enable you to rehome Roxy successfully.

So contact them and see what they say.

As Roxy is de-sexed, you could also look at putting an ad on Gumtree. I wouldn't offer her free to a good home – but put a selling price on her – to weed out the inappropriate homes. Doesn’t mean that you have to take money from an excellent candidate – but it gives you options.

Because of her breeding – please - as 'Sean' said - be very careful in trying to find a home for her.

It is not an easy situation to be in – ‘damned if you do and damned if you don’t type’ of scenario.

So - Heaps of Good Luck Wishes and
