Question Proper Growth Rate and Proper Feeding

    Hi,

Is there any guidance for normal growth rate for labrador puppy.

I have 4 month labrador puppy and he is going to be 10kg soon.

I feed him Hill's puppy large breed mix with supercoat puppy.

    I feed him 2-3 times a day.

    Morning 2 cups

    Afternoon 1 cups

    Evening 2 cups.

    Is it too much?

Trying to feed him only 3 cups but he always follow me arround for more.

If i feed him 5 cups then he will play with his toy

i walked him 15 minutes a day and 30 minutes at weekend.

    Does his size normal???

    Thanks

I'd give him maybe some other food types too...cut back on the amount of dry and replace it with raw meat, eggs and vegies (cooked). otherwise you may find that when he reaches adult hood and starts to eat these things he'll have reactions to them

Why are you mixing dry foods? Hills is supposed to be a complete diet....

He probably mixes as Hills is expensive. I would ditch both foods and move to Eagle Pack Holisitic, Eukanuba, or - if youre willing to buy from Pets paradise California natural.

You will feed less and see less poop because unlike hills those foods arent full of fibrous crap.

Is your pup fat? If so, you are feeding too much. Start giving pup whole peeled carrots as a treat instead.
