It seems a bit soon for ringworm, but it could also be one of the herpes viral things...if it ulcerates , I used to call "foot and mouth", but it is not the correct term. They almost look like chicken pox, when they are near the end of their cycle, but more like what your pup has at the beginning.

Some of the mouth ulcer ( cold sores) stuff they use on humans can be used on older dog, but your puppies are very young. So I am not sure. I know you have had enough of vet fees.....but ?????

Now a totally other line of thinking is.....Could it be a large ant bite or some other insect. Do any of the others have it. And are any not near the mouth/nose area.

I just feel for you. You are just not winning

He's very young, but ask the vet about "puppy strangles". I think it normally appears in pups a little older but I don't have any personal experience with it.

It's a staph type infection: Puppy strangles - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Seperating might be hard on the puppy, stress, but maybe safer for the others....hard one to pick that

I'm glad you're going to the vet. I associate ringworm with flat spots of hair loss not big lumpy things like those.

Those look a bit like abscesses - which can be caused by cat scratches or sticking face in cactus or thorny bush and getting infected. Or a really bad reaction to mozzie bites - I get those and they do swell up though not as perfectly round like that one on the side of his face.

My dog got a very misshapen nose (went Roman hook) when she shoved her face up the bum of a bee. She's not very good at telling the difference between a bee and a blowfly. But I could see the sting and remove it and then ice helped it go down.
