We had to drive two hours home after picking Ruby Up, we stopped at my mums for a few hours too to show her off. By the time we got home with all the stress she had the runs and was a bit spewy too.

When I got Batty I had a choice, I could either pick him up, then drive 4 hours down to my ex's parents place for christmas for a week, come back again. I decided that would be way too stressful so instead picked him up when I got back. It was so much better that way. I got straight into toilet training and there was no confusion for the puppy at all.

    Congratulations on your new puppy.....

Leaving him at the breeders will probably be less stressful for you

We travel everywhere with our pups in a crate from day one. Where we pickup hours is seven hours away anyway and we always take all our dogs everywhere. Ours are all good , maybe because of it or maybe because we are lucky.

Enjoy your new puppy.....Puppy breath, I love puppy breath
