As the old saying goes "Everything good in moderation". It is fine to give pups marrow bones, just not everyday, one once a week or once every two weeks isn't going to cause major issues. The same goes for things like liver.

I went to a butcher the other day to buy bones for the dog and he said: "Ok, I'll get a you a nice mix." And every bone in that bag was from a different part of the animal! I like giving my dog a variety of bones...

I also read somewhere that it is actually the tearing meat of the bone that cleans their teeth.

LOL I listen to Zeke's vet because we have had him there twice over bones, he is a heavy chewer so has had two split teeth from root to tip and once he got a bone with the knuckle joint in (the piece like a patella) thankfully he passed it although it was painful for him

Bones are great for loosening puppy teeth and pretty much anything their teeth can slice/pass/push through like denta bones/greenies will clean their teeth as well, just need the appropriate bone for the breed of dog in some cases.

Sorry for the hijack Sean Mojo is a little cutie still, I love seeing them grow up so thanks for sharing

    Cheers guys.
Yeah about those nails. I did one yesterday and he squeeled.
Thought i might have gone to far down but it looked ok.
I'll have another go tonight. He's like a little Wolverine from the x men at the moment and he knows how to use them, mainly on me.

He loved it and chewed it for hours till he waltzed in and landed half in, half out of his bed and slept like a log for about a hour. Sorry about the small pics, click on em for bigger ones.
Classicc Pics, He is a big pup, that 4 ways cut marrow bone looks just the right size! full splits wont be long!

When he is full grown see if you can get the camel bones they are like dinosaur legs lol. Will suit his size.
