    Default Toys!!!

We spoil our little girl like crazy with new toys at the time..

She has some soft, some that squeak, some that can hold treats and some she can just chew on..

One of her latest ones is the Tug-a-Jug (read about it here)... she loves it!

Mine also love toys and are very careful with their toys. Some of the soft toys are four years+ old....Katy's favourite are a log with three little squeaky squirrels in it. She loves to carry one of the squirrels and just make it make noise. you can't see the squirrel, because her mouth is so large, but it drives Tessa nuts

This is it and they are two years old and still all there

My dogs all love toys & balls.

Sometimes cheap ones get turned into snow very quickly but also favourites have a tendency to remain with them throughout their lifetime which is quite typical to Whippets.

I like to rotate toys to keep things interesting, putting 6 out at a time for about two weeks at a time then I will return those to their toy box and put out a different 6.

My poodles love anything and everything. They are just as happy with an empty toilet roll as they are with expensive toys.
They do love their squeakies but they only squeak for about 2 minutes before they are destroyed.

The Crested loves big fluffies. I have a big teddy bear about 3 foot tall and he will try to drag it around
He doesn't really like smaller toys and squeakies freak him out.

Mine only have their bought toys inside. They love the ropey tug ones. Love their filled kongs too.

Outside they have a few old boots and shoes, bones to find and dig up and dead 2ltr milk containers. Most of all they love their races.

We bought those squeeky toys and the 1st one lasted a couple of weeks.
But we knew it wouldn't last so we bought 3 of the same.
Well number one lasted the 3 weeks after a few sew up jobs on it.
Then the next one lasted about 10 minutes. Murphy got stronger and he just ripped it to shreds.
So we don't buy those cheap crap ones no more. Murphy is just too strong for them.
he now has a ball to chase around.
One thing to do is get the squeeky thing out of it and pull the end of it out. This will leave you with a small tube with the squeeky end in it.
Now sit on the floor an blow into the end of it. Yes you need to put it in your mouth.
It is so much fun playing with it when the pup isn't looking at you as they run around looking for the noise.
I don't this for about 10 minutes and Murphy twigged to it that it was me and then he was all over me.
And seeing you have that blog thing going it would make a great moive to add to it.
I have to get the one with me and Murphy off the Bosses phone.
And I will download it here if I can.

Oskar has a couple of store bought toys, the squeaky rubber chicken was killed the same day we bought it haha, he has old shoes, coke bottles (we throw them out once he has chewed the lid off), and he regularly raids the kids toybox haha, well if they snooze they lose lol. He has a vast selection of toys lol.

I buy my dogs new toys every 2 or 3 weeks and they just go into the pile with the rest.

Barneys fave toy is Pippi's kong. I think because he can put the whole thing in his mouth and make it squish which he cant do with his own.

Pippi's fave toy is a rope that we call her "angry toy". She gets it every night and then runs round "killing" it and snarling at it.

When Pippi was a littly (well littler than she is now) she had this ugly bird thing with rope wings and legs. She used to take that everywhere with her. It slowly got destroed and eventually it was just a scrap of cloth...she loved it so much that I left it with her until it was about the size of a 50 cent piece and then I thought it was time it went in the bin LMAO
