yeah I have been doing the same and trying to see if I could find one that heavy...didn't find anything except the worlds largest dog Hercules...now that is a giant!!

My Katy Bear weighs in at 76kg.....She is a very large newfie girl, but it must be dense bones, because she does no appear much bigger in size compared to our male (70kg) and he is carrying more flesh, Katy is very lean. LOL......Maybe all her floof is heavy, she is one floof girl

must be something like that? I hope Molly being a cross will just stay around the 30 odd kilos mark and males tend to be bigger than females anyway! hmm I wonder what she will weigh when she goes to the vet on Thursday!!

Sean and Emma what age did they reach the full weight/height? Molly doesn't seem to have a ridge yet but when she was sitting looking out of the screen door the other day a cat went past and she didn't bark or anything but I noticed a ridge!!! It went away when the cat did lol!!
Scooby lived to be 13 and from memory he was full weight by age 2ish.
He did have parvo when only 7 weeks old and nearly died. The vet said it may effect his growing in the future, so he may have got even larger, not to sure.

Scooby didnt have a ridge either but when he did get pissed off his hackles where the length of his back and very pronounced compared to most dogs. They did form a ridge as such and then disappear but a purebreeds ridge's hair will run in the opposite direction all the time.

I find them to be very loyal, fast and more bark then bite. He hated fighting other dogs (thankfully) but was always on the ball if somthing suss was going on at night.
Many times i got up to chase away a robber only to find a big eyed possum staring at me from the pandanus trees or another dog peeing on the front lawn.
He was good with kids too.

Chloe stood about 20 inches at the shoulder and was fully grown about 18 months. She went to the bridge in 2007 when she was nearly 13. Her ridge was there all the time, the hair there grew the opposite way.

My girl pups weigh in at about 7.5kgs at around 8 weeks, and mature at 35-40kg. If that helps at all.

So 7.5kg at 14 weeks shouldn't mean she'll grow too huge.

got her a nice big bone today...she loves it!! It came with 2 pieces though so how long will the other bit last in the fridge? Also meant to ask is it normal for pups to have a little vomit after vaccinations? When she head her 2nd one she did and then she had her last one on Thursday and early hours this morning she vomited a little bit. She also ate an m&m last night before I could pick it up could that have done it?
