    Default Well It Dog Training...

    Well
We have decided to give him a session of dog training. We found these people: AusDog - Puppy Training Melbourne and Dog Training Melbourne - DogTrainingAustralia.com.au

They come to your house for only 1.5 hours and they say they will train the dog as well as teach you. They said it is $300, but it is all they need and it is only 1 sessions(1.5hours)

He bit my sister today....his full mouth over her foot. So we were going to get rid of him, but i guess we decided to pay now, its expensive but what else can you do, his not a child dog thats for sure.

I hope your sister is ok - does he really bite nasty/angry or is he just full on with play mouthing?

Well done on sticking with him. I hope your bill is manageable. It's a small cost really considering how much we spend on our dogs during their lifetime - it's just hard to pay it in one hit!

Will be weel worthit if it fixes thing for you all. I've heard of some great results from these sort of trainers, so will have my fingers crossed for you all!!

    Will do!

The guy was flat out! He said his next available time is on 5th of May! So 2 weeks from now.

He bit her like he was angry - not playing around......

    He bit her again today.......

Umm we have made the decision that after the training we will keep him for a further 4 weeks, if he doesn't learn by then, he goes! Which i guess if a fair deal.

In the original thread he listed it as "Bull Terrier Staghound X Bull Terrier Greyhound"

So is going to be a challenge to train to start with... I hope they're doing ok.

There is another thread from Mason about it - titled "Help!" if you're after some background...
