Thread: 8'4 Kilo's

  1. #1

    Default 8'4 Kilo's

Murphy now weights 8.4 kilos and stands at about 35 cm's.
I think he is now 12 weeks or so.
He is just so solid and in this I have nicknamed him Wombat.

He is becoming a real character like barking at us to get our notice which he already knows he has.

I am now thinking he is going to be the Heeler that is slightly smaller but way more solid.

He has filled in that spot that was missing in our lives.

This is Murphy today after we had taken him for a walk to the shops.
I stayed outside with him as we didn't want him stolen as we are yet to get his microchipping done.

Thieves don't usually check for microchip before they nick a dog so you might always want to have someone stay with him outside the shop. This will also protect him against unpleasant dogs and small children - who for some reason always like to poke a dog in the eyes.

He's very cute. I have a massive soft spot for ACD. I shared a house with a similar dog for years.

Yer I do understand that as I know even microchipped dogs are stolen.
But it would give us peace of mind knowing if he was stolen we would have a slightly better chance to get him back.
But I think when he is older he might not take to being patted by strangers, like he does at this minute.
And I think that it is mandatory for dogs to be microchipped here to. So we will do it even if it isn't law.
