Most pups sleep a lot. Be prepared for some separation issues though there may be none.
Remember to toilet after sleeping, after eating and taking her out every hour or so.

Congratulations. Yes, pups breath fast, sometimes very fast especially when they sleep.

    Have fun with her.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease
I can't wait till she wakes up!! Lol

    Oh 1 more question!!
The breeder had her fed at 7am, 12:30 and 6pm.
Do we keep her on the same feeding schedule? How long is she on 3 feeds a day??

    Congratulations!! I love puppies!

When I asked Milo's breeder when he fed his puppies he didn't answer me because I would just try to adjust to the dog and not myself. He made it clear that humans come first, and not to schedule everything around the dog... otherwise it's taking over your life - but you cannot go to the extreme of ignoring its needs.

I'd say feed the pup when it suits you, but keep to 3 feeds a day. I forgot how long you had to keep that up though... Google will have the answers. I was on holidays for 3 months when I got Milo so I think it really helps when you're home for most of the time during the pups first month.

Also, I wouldn't let the pup sleep by himself alone for at least for first week since he's still adjusting to a new environment. I slept downstairs on the couch with Milo for about 3 weeks then when he's gotten used to the environment and the humans, he's been sleeping outside since (with the exception of after his surgery of desexing).

Oh, and you might want to take lots of photos and videos while you can... they don't stay that size for very long!

You dont have to stay to the breeders schedule for feeds.

I usually feed 3 times a day to about 4 months, maybe 5....hmmmm, actually, Im not sure. My youngest is 2 now...but you will know when it is time to drop a feed.
