and so you should be, it is a very exciting time for your family and I am sure your kiddies, particularly your eldest will be beside their selves with excitement about this beautiful new Lab puppy that you are about to bring home. Batten down the hatches, your lives will never be the same. One more sleep - make the most of it

Looking forward to seeing more pics and hearing of her adventures, when you have time

We have had Murphy now for 1 week and how the time has flown.
He has been or is being train to sleep in a create. And he stays in that all night.
Night one the create was by out bedroom ( wife had to start work at 6 am the next morning) Murphy decided that he didn't want to be here, he wanted his siblings. He had a t-shirt with my scent on it with a clock that ticks away. This wasn't good enough.
Wife said that was enought he was moved with in the create to the computer room and spent the rest of the night there. Oh the create was fully covered so it was dark in there for him.
This didn't work Murphy wanted out but we held strong. The next night It was all the same but I threw in one of my old shoes. If he chewed them to bits this would be okay. But you guessed it this worked rather well Murphy slept for quite a while only waking a couple of times that next night. So we thought we were on a good thing.
The next night was getting better he slept all night with all the things in place. Oh and we have got a roller shutter on that window so it was real dark in there to.
So yer just expect the crying and howling from the pup as no mater what you do it will mis its sibling.
And be like us look at the big picture when it is older you will wonder what all the fuse was about for that first couple of weeks.

I'm really nervous about the first night especially since my 1yr will often wake through the night. I guess it's something she will have to deal with lol
I'll report back to see how we go

Lol Asharee - I get them anyway hahaha for some reason the 3yr thinks 6am is a suitable wake up - in winter i don't think so! So now he'll wake the puppy up which means standing outside freezing cold!! I'm buying slippers!!! Lol
