Default What Breed is Our Puppy!?

Guess what breed our dog (Marley) is because we have no clue to exactly what she is!

We are thinking that she is a German Sheppard / Bullmastiff but very unsure! She is such an adorable dog and we saved her from the pound! Would one of those DNA dog test help find out?

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Regards,
    Andrew.

Good for you for taking on a pound dog.......

I find it very hard to tell pups (or even adults) as to what they are. Sometimes breed characteristics come through a bit later.
Right now it could be GSD X or even malinois X. with something bully

    Google Image Result for http://www.malinois.net.au/images/Kiss1.jpg

    Cute anyway and congratulations

    Thankyou for your feedback.

We actually had one person tell us that there might be some staffy in her...she is extremely cute

    Thanks crazydog and lala.

Looking into doing clicker training with her and making sure she is a well behaved, obedient dog! Originally we were actually going to get a pure breed great dane. Have a nice big bed and everything set up for it and then we found her...so I think she might lose herself in the big bed for a little while yet

German Shepherd x Bull breed (maybe staffy, maybe amstaff).

Looks like she will be big!

That's definitely my guess too - and she's very gorgeous. I love serious looking puppies, haha.

She actually looks very very much like one of the dogs at my dog park, who is supposedly a Dingo/German Shepherd. But that's probably unlikely.. it's a pretty uncanny resemblance though!

The DNA test is a little bit unreliable but it's fun if you have $75 to $150 to throw way, or if you need to prove to council "it's not a pitbull"

To me, it's obviously German Shepherd Dog x or something similar to a GSD x. The head is a little short, so maybe staffy or boxer. Not sure about the Mastiff. Then again she's on the way to "proto dog" shape eg dingo or those asian feral dogs. Ie what you get with completely uncontrolled cross breeding and a bit of natural selection.

Most of the malinois I've met are black and hairy but apparently not all. There is also a "Dutch shepherd" which looks similar and I've seen some very cute GSD x Kelpie which are shaped like short haird GSD only smaller and finer.
