Default When Do ACD Puppies Stop Growing?

    Hi all,
Just wondering when is the approx age that male ACD pups stop growing upwards?

Do they stop at a certain age and then bulk up?

Bandit, my male blue heeler is now 14 months.
We watched his face change almost overnight from his puppy one to adult about 2, 3 months ago I think. Could be more or less, I didn't take any notice of the timing.
The change was astonishing, like morphing before my eyes.

They should be finished by 18mths & as Di said around 1yr or so they mature alot in the the head. From 1yr to 18months they shouldn'y grow any taller generally just fill out & features mature.

wow Di Dee, has it been that long already?

Frosty was about as tall as she was going to get by 9 months, and then filled out a tiny bit from then till about 14 months. She's two and a bit now, people still say she's getting taller, it's the long legs - but she's always had them.

Does anyone remember how tall their pup was at 4 months? Just for comparison sake.
And how tall are they now that they are full grown?

I think she weighed about 7kg and was still pretty tiny - calf high, maybe 25cm at the wither?

Our male pup is just over 4 months and at his most recent vet check he weighed around 11 kg. We measured from the ground to his back and his is 45cm approx in height

He is still entire. As there is nothing here that he can impregnate I wanted to wait.
Hmmm, must get around to it soon. My ACD Shadow (RIP) developed testicular cancer when he was 10. Got it all and he lived to 14.
