    Question Angry Pup!

    Hiya guys!!

So I have this 10 week old puppy..
He always growls/barks at me, mostly does when I get his bowl ready for dinner, as well as when we are lying down..
I'm so confused, he's only just started doing it.
    Much appreciate any info/opinion.

    Thanks

getting dinner ready can be an exciting / arousing time for any dog. the growling and barking can just be hurry up hurry up hurry up etc haha, or its just his way of venting his excitement, my mums dog is very vocal and she won't be quite when its dinner time. as long as its not particularly directed toward you i.e as in slightly aggressive i wouldn't worry too much about it, just make sure that he is quite when you give him the food, make sure he is away from you when preparing and he can't hear it.

what do you mean by lying down? when you are trying to relax? on the bed? on the floor? etc etc it could be a few things ill see what i can think of from some more details

oh and 10 week old puppy?? PICTURES!!!! haha

at 10 weeks, the dscipline level for undesirable would be distraction onto a more positive way of behaving.
Go to K9 pro section here, take a read of Triangle of Temptation.
Id lay money on it, he wont be growling in a week of instigating this!

Its working with the hungry dogs drive for food. A very strong pup motivator usually.
Brilliant method! cant recommend it highly enough.

let us know how its going.

    Hey Karissa,

My 15 week old pup likes to bark at the cats when they are lying down as a way of saying to them get up and play with me! Your pup might just be trying to get you to get up and play with him!!
