You (and pup) are lucky. What amazes me in your story is that you've told people if they have any problems to come to you, yet they didn't - they advertised further. It's pathetic and so stupid of them.
Respect and you shall be respected. Animal is always right.

There's perhaps one thing I'd do - I'd occasionally check up on pups and phone people who took them just to see if they're OK and if everything's going OK with them.
    Exactly what I do.......

out of a litter of five, I kept one and there is only one family who I can no longer contact. The other 3 families I speak to on a regular basis. One family I see regularly when we catch up at a park so Bailey and Axle can have a play. If they want info about something or another they call me ASAP.

Yes Natt.......I certainly would have......you have done a wonderful job considering the circumstances

Some people just dont care. I wish I could have kept them.
It started out to foster Sheeby, pups were to find new homes, and fatten her up after the pups went and she would go to her new home. Well that went out the window. We fell in love with her. With her quirks and she has an unbelievable bond with my kids. So sheebs stayed. She is top Bitch here, the other dogs just fell into line with her.

    Talking Piccies.....

Ok So our pup was dropped off today. She is almost as big as her mother. I think she is going to get bigger than her mum. They called her Chloe. She doesnt seem to respond to it tho. She is a beautiful dog, even if she is a lil timid at times. She cringed at a rope toy. I picked it up to throw it and she nearly fell over.

Any Hoo heres some pics of our beautiful gal,

Natt, you did the right thing.
I, as a breeder, always offer to take back my babies if they can not stay with thier families no questions asked. Some times it just doesnt work out, it is in no way a reflection on your choices. Some people seem more able to handle a pup than they are
I also try to keep in touch with everyone who has one of my babies, and yes they are always my babies, but sometimes/most times it is not that easy. I still get the odd email and christmas cards from most of them but some people just do not have the thought to let me know how they are doing. Thats normal so no its not a reflection on you.
You have done so much for these dogs and all the dogs that are lucky enough to find you, do not burden yourself with unwarrented blame. You do/did everything you could for these guys, eventually the blame has to land with the owners.

Breeding, Showing, Training and general crazy making!!!
If you seek understanding listen to the music, not the song.

She looks beautiful! Is it just me or does she look a little sad? I think she is very lucky that you saw her photo!

Her mum Sheebs has that same sad look in her eyes. She spent the night till 5 this morning on a blanket at the end of my bed. after toilet time at 5am (OMG I dont like that time of the morning) She decided that the end of the bed was more comfy. She stayed there till it was time to take the kids to school.
Chloe (I am thinking of changing her name) has no manners, I dont think she has had any training. Loves my kids to bits. But she doesnt know her own strength.
On the upside she is all upto date with her vaccs, flea treatments and worming(including a heartworm injection) Her previous owners had her final round of vaccs and heartworm injections done last week. I found out that the woman loved Chloe but her husband didnt like her, even tho it was her hubbys idea to get the dog in the first place.
So we start basic training before she goes anywhere.
