Thread: Some Problems..

    Default Some Problems..

My 5 month old puppy has been biting her ID tag and her collar as a substitute toy, I try distracting her with her actual toys but it never lasts long and I don't have all day.

She has also been jumping up on things lately. It's probably my fault, I allow her to go on my bed since thats the only area in my bedroom that has nothing she can eat, and the only area she behaves. How do I get her to stop jumping on/biting things?

Put sheets of alfoil on pieces of furniture you don't want the dog on when you're not using them.

Decide whether you want to the puppy on the bed or not. If you want the puppy on your bed, then you'll have to accept the consequences.

If you don't have to have to collar on the pup, don't. If you've got your puppy micro chipped, then that's good ID. If you have a collar on them & they're left unsupervised, you run the risk of them catching their collar on something & then possibly choking to death in your abscence.

I always put collars and tags on, main reason being is once our dogs got out, the council sent out infringment notices because there was no collar and no id tag, and she was microchipped as they rang us in the morning to tell us she was there.
