    Default Dogs & Gardens

    Hi all,
Im not a keen gardener although I would like to start to grow my own fruit/veges. Tyson is 6months old and does dig a little.

Currently we dont have a anything major growing, just some chillis in pots which he cant reach, a mandarine & lemon tree both seperate half a wine barrel. I came home from work the other day and he had jumped in the wine barrel of the lemon tree and dug most of the dirt out, and the lemon tree was no where to be found - I wasnt impressed.

Does anyone have any sure fixes to stop pups from digging/getting into vegies without fencing it off?

Why don't you try putting his droppings under the plants, it worked for my OSCAR. Also avoid using blood & bone fertiliser (maybe a seawood based fertiliser instead) as this would drive him crazy, I know I would start digging for a big pepperoni pizza

There are sprays and crystals you can use which are called, " Get of my Garden". As the name suggest its to stop your dog or cat digging up or going into your garden. If you visit your local pet shop they should have it or something similar to do the job.
