It could be... Batty though, has a policy... Silence is deadly, Silent is best... So it's impossible to capture!

Yes, with a clicker, anything is possible. If you see a desirable behaviour and you have 10 mins to put into it, you can put it to a cue.

Alright, I just fed her using TOT.
As per usual, when i was getting ready to put her on a leash, mum started up with all the torture comments, telling the cat how I was about to torture Dora *eyeroll*.
Anyway, she started barking of course, so I waited for that ten or so second gap between her barks when she wasn't whining and went outside with the food. Did all the steps, gave her the food. She didn't eat all of it, is that a bad thing? And is it also bad that I'm not waiting for her to shut up completely, just for that ten second gap? Like I said, we DO live in a complex, so its a bit hard. I know its not as effective, but I cant do any better. Maybe she'll learn to shut up more slowly than if I was waiting for her to shut it completely?

Try doing it indoors tonight Masha, start her off in a place where she is either less likely to bark or more likely to be quiet. At the moment, even though you're going out in that gap, she's learning that if she barks then pauses you'll come running.

When I first started it, the handle of the leash was looped over a door handle. Once she's got the program down pat, then move it outdoors, plus that way she won't be using the leash so your mum won't have anything to say about the apparent 'torture'.

She may not have been as hungry this morning as she was last night. Don't worry about her not finishing, just take the bowl up and feed her as you would tonight. Don't leave the bowl down for her, even if it's empty.
