Okay...just indulge me for a second. I worry that Poppy's tummy is too fat...too bloated...

She's 10 weeks younger than Batty so that would make her 14-15weeks at a guess? You beat me to it!

IMO she's fine I'll be sure to let you know when I see you guys on Sat morning anyway

Thanks! You're really great at reassuring me without telling me to stop being so silly! I appreciate it!

Really? Overweight? Shes not chubby anywhere else but on the belly. I feed her 1/2 cup of dry in the morning and 1/2 cup of dry plus about 1/4 cup of raw chicken mince for dinner. Plus treats when training!

A little and I stress little, like I said its puppy fat, perfectly normal, my boy is the same. And you are feeding her a great amount Like I said as long as she grows out of it, it is fine Its good that you want to watch her weight ... I usually have the opposite problem with my clients, they have fat puppies and still dont think they eat enough

I have read that Cav's are prone to being overweight and that heart disease is something that effects a lot of them as they get older. I just figure why add to that with the weight.

Glad to know you think I'm feeding her the right amount! I swear she would eat and eat and eat until she exploded if I let her! AGB helped with the food amounts. I actually increased it to 1/3 to 1/2 of a cup because she was a LITTLE on the skinny side.

It is great that you have so much knowledge about your breed to back you up
And that you are paying such good attention to your little girl is going to make her a very healthy and happy little lady well into her old age
