Default And Now We Are Four

Three puppets went to their new homes on the weekend. Have received photos already. All of them went to homes already with a Whippet (keep telling everyone they are potato chip dogs, you can't stop at one).

My it's quiet here. The remaining four slept thru the night, didn't wake up until OH turned on the shower. So that's from 8pm to 5:30am and a clean play pen.

    What good puppets.

Jet goes on Thursday and Diamond on Saturday. So then there will just be our two.

Awww, I will have my life back.

    Mouseandchicken.
From a lady, who would never be able to breed a pup. I rely on people like yourself. I appreciate that it is YOU, who missed the sleep. YOU, who put up with the racket a crate of pups can make. You who looked after mum well enough, to give me a pup with the best start in life.
    Thankyou.

Bernie, that's very sweet of you to say. Just hearing that makes it all worth while.

    I mean it.
I have a colleague, she has a ****zu dam, which is expecting her 3rd litter of pups in 2 yrs. She tells me she can sell them for $400-$500 a pup!
She is at work, the dam is at home in labour.
She comes to work the next day, only 2 pups are still alive at the end of the day. 2 died at birth, the birth she was not there for.
I want to bash her over the head.

Somehow I think I missed the tail end of this thread.

I still have my old hockey stick in the garage and would be willing to lend it out.

Just the price she is charging for this breed tells me enough. They go for far far more than that.

I'm dumbfounded by these stupid people. Why would you want to go thru it all, even if only for the money, if it wasn't a passion.

And I must be going about it all wrong because I don't make money out of it if I take in the whole picture.
