When I was a young child my mother and father wanted to do an Easter egg hunt in our backyard...Our dog helped us find them...just before we did...we were still sleeping and our 2 boxers found them and enjoyed them all to themselves lol (they were both fine)

Try not to stress out too much

Lol. I bought a $60 Easter egg hamper once for my son. He put in his room and was going to make it last all year. 2 Shepherds found it that faternoon up on a tallboy, and when son went into room later that day, it was ALL gone.

That was an amount that really could have done some damage, but thankfully they were okay. Son wasn't okay about it though. Lol.

That might be a poodle thing! At Christmas everyone human gets a plate with chocolates, nuts and other sweets on it. Well, the dogs got in the room where the plates were prepared and ate all the chocolate and nuts. Mind you they unwrapped the chocolate first and left the nut shells behind too
