Pop into the Pet Goods Direct and you can pick up a puppy kong for $20. I avoid the manufactured crap they sell with it though, the first ingredients are preservatives!

If you want to see what I'm talking about here's Batty with his kong:

Oh yes! Are those like white hyde kind of bone shaped chew toys? She came with one and LOVED it! Only finished it off a few days ago! So it lasted her almost 4 weeks!!!

Batty's Kong looks different to the ones I have seen. I have seen ones that are an oval-ish shape...is that still the same thing???

P.S - Have to say again that he is the CUTEST puppy!!! I can't wait to meet him!!!

What about pigs ears to chew on? They make me wanna vomit but Poppy might like them! Haha!

be a tad careful with pig ears...they can chew off a piece...soften it and it can get lodged in their throat...just supervise her with the piggy ear.

Sorry Amy, I only just saw this post!!

It's made by Kong and it's just a different shape. It's brilliant though, Batty can get his mouth around it and carry it around (which was a problem with the normal shaped ones) plus you can put peanut butter or anything else in the grooves on the side.

Batty gets a pigs ear every once in a while, but they can be quite rich for a puppy's tummy I've found, so he gets to chomp away at it for an hour or until he walks away from it (whichever comes first). Just be aware that you may need to teach her that it is edible...
