    Default Blushing Right Now :-)

Oh god, my cheeks are red XD

Went for a nice long walk with Mollie, actually PAST my street and going down the next road. Anyway, their was a huge patch of green grass, so we stopped and I gave the commands "SIT", "STAY", "COME", "GO AROUND" in one of the routines I have been doing with her since I just got her (Sit, stay, come, sit, go around (my legs in a circle) and then sit on my left side)
She did it perfectly, no treats, just praise used (She was still on leash BTW)

ANYWAY, a lady came out of her house and walked up to me at her fence and said to me:

"Oh my, isnt she a gorgeous dog! I've been watching you from my side-deck and I cant believe how well-trained your girl is! I've seen you walking her everyday for weeks and I can definately see the improvement in her walking! You're doing a great job with her!"

I had a nice chat with her about Mollie and dogs and training in general.

Isnt it nice when others recognise all the hardwork you put into something? I am so happy with myself and so proud of Mollie!

    Good work, Demi!
Now if only that happened with me and Dora...
But I'mnot walking her right now, cause I rang the vet and she said that there HAS being an outbrak of parvo, so I'm a bit scared
It's really good how well you're training her, and the lady was right, Mollie IS gorgeous. How is she going with socialisng?

    Parvo? Isnt that like vomiting/etc?

Socialisation? Umm. Yeah. I dont really know if its an improvement or a decline..?

Well, she officially runs up to my mum's close friends; Trudy and Sandra, she is getting used to Dooby (1 of my dad's regular-coming-over friends)
BUT. Whenever she sees a boy, she goes nuts! She has been lunging and chasing. Too be HONEST, I am actually frightened she may try to nip someone She has been barking at my bro even more now - like nonstop when he is near.

I KNOW its going to take time. I KNOW that she has had a bad experience involving boys. BUT I still feel frustrated... and... unconfident? when she barks like crazy at blokes. I dont know what to do. Ever since mum has had a talk with Billy (brother) he hasnt been mean to her, he has even tried giving her treats sometimes, but she barks and barks and LUNGES.

I am worried and I feel like I am doing everything wrong.

That was a mouthful, but had to get it off my chest

Training, other animals socialisation, obedience, leash, etc, arew going GREAT, socialisation is the only real problem..
