Sorry to go a little OT but can you buy Aloe vera plants at a regular plant nursery?

This has me thinking there is a need for a thread which could be stickied about the basic medicinal items that all owners should have - unless there already is one somewhere that I've missed?

Dog poop is not so far away from Dog food. Especially if the dog pooper eats really fast.

Aloe Vera - on the other hand - I've seen my dog's face after she's tasted that, and the tongue dance she does trying to get it off. When I say "tastes horrid" I mean to the dog, not just me. I'm not sure if dog poop would taste horrid - I haven't tried any. I reckon it wouldn't be tongue biting bitter though.

You can get Aloe Vera from nurseries. You need to make sure it is "Aloe VERA" and not Aloe something else because there's lots of Aloe varieties and only one with the healing leaf.

Di Dee - definitely a black thumb for that one. My aloe is in a fairly shady spot most of the day and is lucky to get watered at all and is bursting out the pot and thriving despite the fact that I cut bits off it from time to time.

Just because a dog drags it's bum on the ground does not mean it has to be something wrong with it! Especially if you do worming regularly... I mean, do you guys ever have an itchy bum? I do hahaha and I certanly don't have worms or yeast infection. Of course you keep a close look at your dog's behaviour but draging their bum is their way of scratching it

Hahahahahaha who knows hahaha I'd probaby be "dancing" which reminds me of a joke (black humour, so please, no offence), when a guy sees another guy with no arms wiggling and "dancing" in the middle of the street. So he asks him: "man, what are you dancing for, I mean... how can you be happy, you've got no arms!" And the one with no arms replies:"You'd be dancing too mate if you had an itchy bum!"
(I'm quite visual person so I have this image inside my head )
