Red face Welcome to the Family Cookie

A few days ago I finally got my female Bichon Frise called Cookie!
She is almost everything I wanted! She's fun, active, a bit mischievous, and she rarely barks.
Only one problem, as she is teething she likes to chew.... my feet. (None of us wear slippers because she likes to follow ppl so we're scared we'll step on her)
I've tried distracting her with her own bones and chew toys.
And I've tried shrieking and then turning away from her.
None of which seem to work, please help, her teeth are VERY sharp.

I think she is teething. Sorry I can't offer advice but...Pictures please!

Actually I think I can help: You get get a spray which repels dogs. Perhaps spray that on the stuff you don't want chewed?

You could try emitting a loud, high-pitched yip to show she is hurting you when she bites, or as disney says put something on your toes to discourage her, such as chilli powder or a specialist product. And remember to give her lots of bones chew toys as you have been.

I've tried the high-pitched sounds, they worked at first but now they just seem to aggravate her more.

Perhaps she views it as a 'challenge?'
