    You might like to read this

    The socialisation - with people and other dogs is really really important especially if you have dogs that are going to be huge - and scary just because they're huge. And teaching them - first to bite gently and then not at all (no biting humans) is also very important and you can only do it when they're little.

    With the 4 I have here, I do what their mother does when they mug me and are a bit exuberant with me. I gently grip their muzzle and lower jaw and keep some light pressure and say NO. Then there is praise when the are gentle. They are all quite good with Down, now, mostly lol.

    Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

    We had 2 pups. They'd beat the crap out of each other, every night, for years, at 8.30, the winner got the trailer (the high vantage point, muchly prized), the loser got under the trailer.
