    Lol.

I think you could make a list of the commands that you would like to teach Dora. Just the things that you feel you and her will need throughout your time together. Then add on any you would like.

I took Mollie for a walk this morning but had a few small problems. She kept stopping and pulling. I instantly stopped as you said you were doing. I spose thats the right way around it?
Good news is I only focused on the command "sit" today, instead of the usual "sit", "come", "rollover" , and Mollie is getting much better at sitting RIGHT away as soon as I say the word

Thats a big improvement for Dora In such a short time. She is SO cute ^.^
one command...perfect it...move onto next command...perfect it...move onto next command etc

Question regarding this. Troopa will drop on command but only when I'm doing the treat moving downwards method. Should I wait until he can do it with me standing and just saying the word before moving onto our next command?

Using food to train dogs has made training much easier but there is a knack to knowing when to move on so that motivation stays in place.

For Trooper are you using a bridge, if you are you should be able to move onto a reward rather than a lure. Then you need to slowly wean to an intermittent schedule of reward.

Say 5 drops using lure, then pretend you have a lure in your hand, when Trooper goes into a drop show him your empty hand, then reach to your food pouch and give a reward. Once you have gone past this stage you are then looking for the best drop that way the dog keeps improving.

Think of it as going from a vending machine to a poker machine. When the puppy is at vending machine he always gets a reward, when he's moved to the poker machine phase he is doing it in hope he gets a reward. And if you reward only improvements you get a dog that is always striving to perform better.

So out of 5 drops, the second drop wouldn't get a reward, then the second and 4th, then only the first and last drop. Don't linger on the non reward drops move on quickly so the dogs doesn't wonder why, he gets an opportunity to do it again and get a reward.

Also while in the drop for a puppy at the starting phase, I continually feed the puppy in the drop position, then I use a free command and encourage puppy out of position.

I rarely use stay with my dogs. Hope this made sense.
