    1) He's jealous. It's very possible, as this is your dog, not his. Right now your dog (and inadvertently you) may be getting a lot more attention than he is. Shake the mongrel dog that is getting the attention is possibly his way of getting attention, be it good or bad.

    2) He honestly just hates the bloody dog. Not all ppl like all breeds of dogs.

As much as it may gall you to try this, I would use your brother's own vanity against him. I would tell him about something you can't seem to manage with your dog, but can he help you as he may be much better at it. You could be amazed at the change in his attitude.

Unfortunately, it sounds like your brother and yourself don't get along at the best of times, and it sounds like your mum doesn't have much experience with dogs, which is possibly making the situation worse?

Oh, my mum actually has a fair amount of experience with dogs. She had a Cairns terrior when she was about my age and is always helping me with tricks and telling me about the situations/dealinsg with her dog and how she fixed them. She just never experienced something like "this".

I can definately see what you mean about the jealousy though.

But I am feeling a bit better, want to know why?

MOLLIE took a treat out of Billy's hand! YUP! Thats right!
I asked Billy if he got sit down on the floor and see if Mollie approached him, he sat on teh ground (quite annoyed though lol) and held a treat. I watched on and Mollie, although hesitant, walked up to him, sniffed his hand and took the treat, then walking away.

OMG! Huge improvement ALREADY!!! No barking. No growling. No shaking.

She still barked at him when he came out of his bedroom. But I feel a little better. Maybe things really can improve?

Improve your relationship with your brother, and you will automatically improve his relationship with your dog.

I totally agree with this ^, if your brother and you don't get along this is going to rub off on your pup, and it won't be 'cured' until she realises that you are happy round him so SHE can be happy around him.

Its really hard to improve my realtionshop with my brother. He is mean to everyone. NON-STOP. I have tried 'ignoring' it, I have tried just saying 'nice things'. He just hates me
The other day, I got up at 5am with him to go to the skatepark and shop. As soon as we got back, he treated me lik sh!t again :/ It really sucks...
