Default Molly & Benson's Big Day

Well the day I've been dreading has finally come around. Molly & Benson are going in today at 9am to be desexed and also Benson has to have his hernia repaired.

They will be staying in overnight and I will miss them so much tonight. I've planned to have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off so that I can be at home and keep a close eye on them so hopefully everything will go well.

I'm going to be so happy to see them tomorrow morning when I go to pick them up.

Aww, you will miss them, for sure.

Everything will be fine, but it's very commendable to see you taking time off work to be close to them while they are recovering! Good on you.

    Thanks guys

I picked them up yesterday and to look at Molly, you wouldn't even know that she'd had an operation. Poor Benson on the other hand looked miserable cause he has to wear an e-collar for the next 10 days...poor baby. He's been really good though and he'll eat and drink with it on but he's still a bit down in the dumps about it and keeps hiding under the BBQ for some reason. Maybe he thinks the cats will make fun of him..lol

All up, it cost a bit more than I was expecting because Molly had to have a urine test (which showed a low-grade urinery tract infection), so then she had to have anti-biotics for that, plus she had to have some baby teeth removed. They also had their heartworm injections which will last for the next 6 months.
