Who mentioned unrestrained? No way. 2 utes, 4 dogs, all restrained always in the back, gawd, the number of dogs dragged by a long chain or falling off, eeerrrrk

Would you prefer I abort? Causing more possible problems for the mother?

Would I prefer you abort? Yep! Heelers and Kelpies are a dime a dozen in pounds and don't tell me you couldn't get a good working dog in a pound!

However, your dog, your life, your decisions. No one said we had to agree

I totally agree that we do not have to agree. Have you ever been remote rural aussie?

I have had personal pets from pounds through the years. I prefer that.

Working dog wise that is my father in Law's decision.

Thank you for testing me, it has possibly helped establish that I do care and am bona fide.

Honestly, yea, I prefer abort too, for a lot of reasons but I am outvoted. I would like her older.

there are no "tests" - the smugness has been noted however

    What do you call rural?

lets just say I am an hour away at 100km an hour from any town of any significance...meaning over 600 people. I am 3 hrs away from you,
debate with me when I get back from town tomorrow night. I want to get some fresh liver and have supplies from the vet as I do not get to a major centre often.

*sigh* - got to love someone who is too busy to answer but just busy enough to be vague

Nearest big towns to me are Griffith, Leeton. I have no intention of naming the small one I live 20mts outside of on a net forum. What matters is that I have an excellent vet in Leeton, he has been for a very long time. He sees our stock when needed as well as our cats, dogs and even sees birds. So many Aussies feel a pet bird is disposable as some are so cheap and Avian Vets are as scarce as hen's teeth. My belief is that anyone or anything you have the responsibility for, whether a human, pet, stock should receive the best care possible.
