despite the fact that you all had made me cranky with your posts i went to pains not to call anyone names! all of you people that have called me everything under the sun should be ashamed at your obvious lack of self control. it is possible to have a rant without being abusive. I am sure all your beautiful pure bred dogs have better manners than the lot of you. congratulations guys! you have made me proud to be a so called idiot!!

Hi I am looking for a Bandog or Mastiff X Male in the FNQ area to mate with my neo, bandog x Bullmastiff X Bitch. She is a lovely dark brindle girl, weighing close to 60kg, with long legs fo a mastiff, very friendly. I am looking for someone around mid nov to mid dec.

    This was the original post.

It was pretty obvious the writer was not genuine. If he/she does in fact live in FNQ the place is crawling with Piggers and Pig Dogs. He/she could have found a mate for the bitch simply by walking down the street or asking at the local pub.

I don't know what prompted todays odd little outburst but it was so silly I felt it wasn't worthy of a sensible reply.
I am not looking for a brainless pig dog to put over my bitch, i want something that is more family orientated, not to mention being from fnq i know how hard it is to find a pigdog that is a plain mastiff or bandoggue and not mixed with 10 different other breeds. thank you anyway for your knowledgeable (apparently) reply.

I have absolutely nothing against mixed dogs. My Taya is is a Rotti x.

As for shelter dogs having bad temperaments - Taya came from a shelter and she is the best dog I could ask for - sweet, gentle, mellow.... an all-round beautiful dog. Your flat-out refusal of the idea of getting a rescue dog insults me.
Yes, she does have mild hip dysplasia but any large dog can get this. I was informed of the HD when at the shelter but I still took her home - It's not her fault and I wasn't going to discount her because of it.

Oh, and I'm glad she's been 'mutilated' because that way more dogs won't be brought into this world and she is at less risk of getting some forms of disease/illness. Same can't be said for my old dog - by the time he had been 'mutilated' the testicular cancer had spread.

When I brought my MUTT Kimba home from the Rspca I was asked by my ex if I wanted to breed her with his dog.
I went off my nut at him. I was in tears at the shelter seeing all the dogs without homes and he wanted to create more.
Luckily the Rspca mutilates all their dogs before they leave.

I think anyone who breeds hasn't seen the rescue/shelter side of breeding. I'm sure a lot of people would reconsider if they did.
