Poor little pup, my heart goes out to the poor little pup.
My dog is my best friend and helps me though those hard days.

Poor little pup. Clearly it has been taken away from it's Mum too young. And I'm sure that the teeny bopper does not even know that it has extra special needs from the other inmates of the shop. Unfortunately if the Pup does survive then it's probably going to have difficulties for the rest of it's life.

Interesting how they had the "Not for Sale sign, and then she tried to sell it to you.

isn't there some regulation against this, that pup needs warmth, love and care and it makes me cry hot angry tears that the shop can get away with this. Oh my that poor poor puppy.

Dear Lady I am soooooo angry now, why is there not legislation against this type of thing. I saw this with a kitten once and went in to make inquiries. Apparently this baby was 6 weeks old (more like 4) and needed to "gain weight" I was furious and said very quietly with as much control as I could muster that this baby was no where near 6 weeks and needed to be with her mum to gain weight, and what the hell was a pet shop doing with her, and why had they not called animal welfare or similar to look after her.

I so wanted to take her home and lover her and make it better, but I will not support pet shops and BYB. I cried for days after that.

Who makes the laws governing pet shops and how can they be changed

    Hey Jarrah,
    Well said.
I felt exactly the same. Seeing any pup in a pet shop upsets me let alone one that has a pup so tiny and unwell. Thanks goodness for Pet stock- the only store I use as they don't sell pups/kittens.

I strongly believe that NO pet shops should sell pups or kittens. I do not have a problem with pet stores having a registry of breeders to give prospective pet owners names and phone numbers. I do not have a problem with pet stores having a board with photos of puppies for sale with details. I believe that any responsible breeder would be happy to pay either a yearly fee or, if a pup sells via photo board, a commission. Time to stop puppy farms/mills and this would go a long way to doing that.

    Nope.
    Not going to.

But I sure hope some of the others do.
