Default chasing 2 pups right now. Fingers crossed

Contender No. 1 is a long haired sable GSD papered 10wk pup. Waiting to hear back from breeder re visit. These are confirmation pups. And hard to tell if parents are the look i like, as photo's are show or led down. Nothing natural in pictures to see.

Contender No.2 is a 1yr old male entire male pup Bordeaux. Needs a forever home. And judging by the look of the garden, has not had the best start in life.

My heart is saying contender No.2, my head is saying No.1

just have to wait for fate to decide. Coz i cant.

Out of those two the choice would be easy ... I wouldn't be paying one red cent for a long coat especially a sable

@ Riley. I am looking for a new pup because, i wish to have 3 dogs. This is under license to keep 3 from local council. (Hume, Vic) We are rural.
Harleyquin and Sherlock are not my dogs. Just those i borrow from my son. And my friends when they go on holiday
though, no doggy day care for the next few weeks methinks.

Ive only ever owned long haired GSD's. I love the bear look. It does also mean, that my hidden hairdresser talents, get used regularly. I dont mind that. And you get used to eating dog hair. Not a meal leaves my kitchen, without a bit of bernie in it. I agree, most folks would baulk. And 2 hair shedding fools, might test me.

But i seem to now be wondering, do you guys think i should not get a 3rd? for some reason?

My GSD breeder got back to me. Only 2 in this litter with stockman coats, both female. So no go there. Plenty of confirmation GSD pups around right now, one litter of working available for sale in Vic.

So, plenty of towels. Ew gross. I reckon we might try to train "wipe your chops"
did you ever notice how slowly, gooble takes to fall from a set of chops like these? Seems to go in slow motion ive always thought.

What sort of sleeping arrangement for night 1.
He is to sleep indoors, in same large room as Pohm and Bernie. with access (dog flap) to secure deck, that leads down to concrete area for dogs toilet.
He is used to sleeping alone outside. But its 0 degrees here at night. Much colder than it gets where he's living now.
so what do folks recommend for night 1.

Ive spoken to his owner. They are pleased to of found us for him.
I am meeting up around their place tomorrow, and if that goes well. On Saturday, we do a intro to our dogs in the park. If that's ok, home with us. He is dog/dog friendly, child friendly to their 7 yr old. No issues, hates cats however, house trained, walks on lead but pulls. Good guard dog. < i dont like that much. But he seemed to be saying he'll guard the house, rather than he's attacked and bitten a visitor.
