With the nice weather Pax now spends her days outside but still gets put in the laundry at night. She does have to be chain as she still runs to hard on her leg if left loose but she still gets to play with her big brother Kronos during the day.
I know how intelligent Dingos are but I am still amazed at Pax's training progress. She has already masterred sit, come, speak and is understanding wait 80% of the time. Next is heel as she does pull alot when walking but she is getting better every day.
But I got some really nice photos today and thought I would share

    And my fav shot

    LOL love Lon Ping Tung!

Hy She did move a few times to start with when she first saw the camera but after she realised she got more pats for sitting in roughly 1 spot she decided she was a super model :P I started really working on the 'wait' command on Tuesday evening. So I was very proud of her today. Of course when she sees her brother Kronos nearby tho her attention span goes out the window and she just wants to play, that is when I gave up with more photos. But she gave me her full attention for over 10 mins so I was happy to let her play afterward considering she is still only a puppy.

RileyJ yep she is growing fast but 9/10 I see her next to our rottweiler and she looks tiny and I often forget she is not going to be a pup for long lol.

I also forgot to say if you look under her right eye you can see a tiny tuft of white fur. I call it her Pierrot tear (like the weeping french clown dolls) My OH told me the breeder had never seen anything like it in all his his experience with Dingos. It is an actual tuft of fur and definitely not a white marking has anyone seen anything like it before? I love it it makes her even more unique but I am curious about it tho :P

Sorry no Photo updates but a bit of news.
Pax has had the last of her puppy Vaccs and had her finally check up for her leg and has received the all clear from the Vet. He is also looking into the process to have Pax DNA tested so that we can be sure she is 100% Alpine dingo and suitable for breeding to help with the preservation of the species

She know stays outside (off chain) all the time now and is loving it. She has a bit over an acre to run and play. And with a better energy outlet she is really mellowing. We were taking her for walks before but she loves to be able to run when it suits her, so she is allot happier outside. She spends her days napping in the shade, playing with Kronos or just doing laps around the yard. Her basic training is doing well to and while I wouldn't trust her off leash off property just yet, She is always well behave at home.
Although we no longer take her in the car if we can help it... She gets horrible car sickness. It doesn't matter if it is 5 mins to the corner store or 1hr round trip the Vet and home again, She will have thrown up AND pooed on the back seat! And my poor back seat is not doing so well :P
We love her though hehe. I will take more pics soon and post them up for everyone

When Frosty was little, I used to carry a lot of newspaper in the car for her to up chuck on. She learned for herself eventually if she kept her head down and didn't move she didn't get as car sick. I learned if she sat up - I had "Now" to pull over and put newspaper under her gob so she'd up chuck on that. I didn't have time to wait for a safe and convenient place to pull over. Sigh. So I would surround her with newspaper. And not feed her kibble the day of the trip.

Lucky for me she only threw up, no pooping as well. But you can get nice waterpoof washable car seat covers that make things easier to clean up. That and the newsaper. Lots of it. What are we going to do when there are no more paper printed newspapers?

Default Over due update + photos

Well life has been chaos through the holiday season and the first weeks of school for my son BUT Pax has been growing beautifully.
Our smart lady now Sit, Speak, lie down and Up on hand signals. We have finally got her food 100 % although it is hard to get used to a canine that looks a bit underweight even at perfect weight lol
She is brilliant with medium- large dogs (she is untested on small dogs), kids, strangers, cows and goats. Due to her having a very high prey we don't really trust her with animals smaller than her, she might be fine with the cats and just play chasing but we aren't going to risk her or our cats to find out. But with our small animals all 100% it is not a problem we really worry about.
Our vet is happy with her progress and agrees pending a DNA test to confirm she is 100% she ticks all the boxes to be bred fingers crossed 2014 We already have 5-6 people offering deposits on her pups to guaruntee homes for them so I am stoked that nearly all bases have been covered so soon.
Anyway what is an update with out pics? :P these were taken today especially for everyone Dog forum.

She is not happy with me here I distracted her from her mighty hunt of a particularly interesting Dung beetle lol
