My posh double glazing sliding doors onto deck. Dogs cant open them. So we bought for 250 a insert, its a panel you attach to the wall, and slide the door up to it. The panel has a flap in it.

Came home yesterday, to find Bernie has burgled us. Annoyed at the door clearly, ripped it out, the entire door!
Now we have a open air house, till w/e and we can get a new door.
Saves all that pushing through a door though for dogs.

    Bloody dogs.

Im moving onto a new venture. Adopting a owl. Now then, how to train dogs to leave owl alone and visa versa. Owl if totally blind.
I have hurdles to cross such as obtaining my licences, permit plus falconry. But this owl is so worth that effort. And hopefully can have 10 happy yrs with us.

lol at the door. Hope you manged to get it replaced quickly. And that it didn't get too cold at night!

I couldn't see those pics you posted. Says 'page not found'?

My landlord's JRT once had pups (an accident) while I was living in their granny flat on their property. I had my dog Luna - wolfhound x, who got on great with the JRT - they were the odd couple. Luna helped raise the 2 pups. They used to climb all over her and sometimes sleep on top of her when she stretched out on the couch. Then one day, the two adult dogs started bullying the remaining pup when we went out for walks. Never when home. But outside they almost viciously ganged up on her and made the pup squeal, seemingly without prompt. I figured that I probably just couldn't read the signals and that there must have been a reason for their behaviour that I just didn't get, so I rarely interfered. But it was really embarrassing when other people passed. The pup was never harmed. Still not sure if they were just making sure she knew they were in charge or what.

Sherlock pup has rapier like clicker potential

I had some left over lamb, cut into 10 tiny pieces for Sherlock, 1 clicker. Behaviour to capture: coming and sitting by me.
He did it, i clicked/treated and moved away.
He comes straight over and sits at my feet. click treat and move away.

He then bounds into a sit at my feet, hilarious, seriously jumping into the sit for the click treat. 3 times to get a Ah ha! moment. I love this pup!
    10 out of 10 correct.

and the other side. Left for 15 minutes alone in house whilst we jump started my car. Result, every wooden door handle on a oak dresser, gone. The bin removed from it cupboard, and spread out like his banquet on the floor, and him tucking into chicken carcass.
    I hate this pup lol
