Would it be to early at this point to take him off puppy food
As he hasn't eatn it in 2 days tryed some other dog food and biscuits and he really loves them.
He will be 7 months in a week and a bit.
Also I was wondering about chicken necks best age to start buying them?.

It is probably best to feed him at least twice a day, but only leave his bowl down for 10 minutes and take it, and any leftover food away afterwards. At 7 months I would be giving him 1/2 puppy diet and 1/2 adult diet, until he is about 10 months old then move him entirely to adult diet. (Assuming that he is a medium size pup.)
For the next 6 to 8 months he will probably be eating more than he will as an adult because he is in his teenage growth stage now.
He will respect you more if he sees you provide his food, and take away the empty bowl after 10-15 minutes. If he is allowed to eat whenever he wants he won't see you as the food provider and he will be much harder to train.

Don't worry if he doesn't eat much while you are changing over to specific mealtimes - he will eat quickly enough when he is really hungry.

ETA : Forgot to say mine munch happily on chicken necks from 8 weeks old! By all means add necks, or even better, chicken carcasses to his diet.
