Lol that is a good point Sean... apparently it is to show appreciation to her for all she does for you all , do you get a fathers day pressie from her? I only have the dogs so I don't get anything. I did wake up to a room full of toilet paper from Bella this morning though they did let me sleep in till 9.30! haha

Yeppo...Sean, hang your miserable head in shame, you are deeply imbedded in the s**t again young man .

Your kids i presume, dont have a wage earning job so the protocal is for you to go out and shop with them for something you know mum wants, even though she is your wife, not your mother, you do it to help the kids get a suitable "mothers day" pressie.
When they start fulltime employment...then they do it themselves.

I personally dont go in for the " consumerism" of such days and always encouraged my "kids along with their helper (YOU) to make breakie or lunch or organise a nice day out somewhere instead of pressies. But if pressies is what she wants....then its up to you to make sure she gets them. Poor naive Sean...not very wily in the ways of the wifey, YET

Sean, Sean Sean!!! It's ok, you are just a man!! LMAO....I didn't get anything for mother's day except off my kids because I gave them 5 bucks each for the mothers day stall at school. You guys should give us anything we want, after we spit out your watermelons out of a hole the size of a saucer lmao.
On father's day I bet you won't be whinging lol!!

Yeah I think I would be happy with breaky in bed and a hand made card. I don't go for the commercialism of days like today. I did take my Mum shopping though and brought her a manicure.

    I guess i'm a tight sod.

Valentines day, Easter, Mothers and Fathers day etc, etc, just to many 'special days' for me.

The ruggies are 5 and 11 but they make heaps of stuff for her at school so i thought that would do. I always did the homemade card rather than a bought one for my old girl. She did get pancakes in bed and a afternoon at the mothers day in the park fair down the road so i'm not in the $hit but i nearly was if the perfume thing didnt happen. Fathers day i'm shouting myself somthing cool for sure now.......cant wait. LOL.

I'm actually teaching my young fella what to look for in the perfect woman. Last week it was all about looking for a girl who wears silver instead of gold...."that'll save ya heaps in the long run boy, trust me i've spent thousands over the years on gold". This week it was all about teaching him to suss out a girls mother as thats how they'll turn out in another 20 years time. He'll learn from my mistakes......LOL.

LOL, good man!! Despite your lack of knowledge on these over commercialised moola making days, you sound like a pretty good bloke. I don;'t really care for pressies, a nice card is always nice. I don't think it is really necessary for a present, i just felt good this morn when my boyfriend rolled over and wished me a happy mothers day, even though he isn't the father of my kids.
