Thread: Custom boot lid for a stationwagon

Default Custom boot lid for a stationwagon

    Hi Everyone

I am looking for someone who can make me a boot lid for my station wagon - we planned to get a 4x4 ute
but now changed of plans, we are getting a smaller car for my partner, she doesn't want to drive our Nissan
Stagea anymore because of petrol usage.

So I am now in search of shop who can make me a boot protection for my car - if you know someone please
    PM me for details

I need lid/protection so carpet is safe, ceiling is safe (I can ask if they can laminate) and safe for pee and poops

    Thanks

    sample photo of the boot

I'm not 100% sure what you mean.....i know some manufacturers sell rubber mats for the rear of most 4x4's not sure about a wagon though. Still leaves the sides exposed to claws though.

It may be easier and even cheaper to just use a large crate instead......mine has a removable tray in the bottom so no pee's would leak onto the carpet. They are very lightweight and easy to move around and even fold flat plus they come in real handy for other times you need to contain the dog. My guy loves his crate. Sorry i cant be more help but i'm still a little unsure of what your chasing.

That cover is awsome...shame it dosnt suit your model car, maybe a email them about your's...see what they say.

The crate i use is bigger than this one but it's still the same concept but after seeing what your wanting it may not appeal to you.

yeah done that already, even asking import monster - they advise look for universal or custom ones, since if I import one it will take forever to come and most of the the time the parts Im looking for only comes with the car, hard to see someone parting it out.

I guess you could take some pictures to a vehicle appo...upholst.....upholste........place where they do car interiors..lol i cant spell that word.

They might be able to make somthing similar up. A heads up though.....canvas is bloody expensive so maybe another type of material would be more cost effective. I now know why swags are so dear as i was quoted well over $100 to cover a dog matress...nearly fell over.

Yeah I thought about this, but would like to go somewhere who made these things for a client - I don't want to rock up to a shop and will end costing me an amr and leg lol
