You are a good son...I would love a little boy so I could have a mummy's boy!! But I have two mummy's girls, they are my little mates. Oskar is not quite a mummy's boy lol

Tell your Mum that considering that your dogs have cost you $10k lately you are keeping them inside where they are safe and if she thinks it is so nice outside, there is a matress in the spare room she is welcome to drag out there for herself.
That really made me lol! I wouldn't have the guts to say something like that to my mum, but I hope Liss will in a moment of insanity and films their response.

Nothing can hurt you like family can - I know that pain . I've had to move states to escape from mine. Doesn't mean I don't love them - I do, but truly I don't know how we lived together for as long we did... To be honest my mother is fine, she just has terrible taste in boyfriends and I find it devastating that a woman so professionally impressive can be so weak when it comes to relationships.

I once told my mum she was as approachable as a landmine, when I was in my early 20's lol......when I was 14 I actually called her psycho, and she did just that lmao...but I do love her very much. And now that I am older and I have kids, when I open my mouth, my mum's voice comes out LMAO

you have to have some balls when it comes to family. It's not much of a family if they walk all over you and don't respect what you have to say or how you feel. Maybe I'm just lucky that I can say what I want to my family and we might disagree or sometimes argue but we don't act childish about it.
Funny that I say what I want to family but it's a whole 'nother story at work..... shame really. Would love to let fly at some of those guys!!!

Liss I'm so sympathetic. But I have a mother in law instead. My mum is great, loves dogs etc etc.

My MIL is anti everything that is not human. At least after enough years she has pretty much given up coming to visit as she can't cope. Those big crotch-poking borzoi noses are too much for her!! Hooray!!

But it has led to some really tough times over the years, and it's really hard when family are trying in little narky ways to undermine how you choose to live as an adult...

    Breathe deep...

Well it didn't turn out too bad they both had a few too many drinks at the club and called me to come pick them up
I said I'm sorry but I'm not a taxi service and I'm busy getting my boys ready for dinner and feeding my dogs
