Whoa! That's a big snake! we use to live at Kerry (which is sorta back in there too) and we would get lots of big boppers like that! I loved them, even tried to pat one once. Stopped when it got a bit agitated though! Lol down side is you get lots of the nasty snakes too!

My old lady is a freak. She wont let you kill any snakes...there is a big carpet snake in the roof and its a bloody monster!
She also has "Henry" and "henrietta" her pet Huntsman spiders that always seem to show up in the shower. Mums does taxadermy aswell so the house is full of birds. A huge big eagle that sits on a branch that comes out of the wall above the TV and Galah's, Phesants and Lorikeets here and there.
As a kid i had to sort through the dead birds in the freezer to get to the iceblocks !!!

Oh wow! If the spiders were in my house they would have been long gone! That's one thing I am scared off! Eep! Lol at having to dig in the birds for ice blocks! I would think all the creatures looking at you would get rather scary when your home alone!

LOL, it would have been eerie if you needed to go to the loo in the middle of the night, as a kid!! My OH is an avid animal lover...drives me nuts sometimes but I love that he is passionate about animals, when it comes down to it.

SSWolf, in cadets (at GPS high schools) they drop off a group of kids out in the wilderness
and they have to fend for themselves, including hunting for their own food.

A story from my sons School Principal - when the CO went to collect a group after
3 days or so he found them polishing off the remains of a duck.
He said "Well done boys, how did you catch it".
"It just fell out of the sky, Sir" - what actually happened was a hawk had caught the duck,
was then challenged by an eagle - in the fight that ensued the duck was dropped
and the hungry cadets swooped on it.

I knew I had photos of Pythons somewhere..
Does anyone know - is this male&female mating or
    two males fighting over territory?

We have had bigger ones than these that ate all my young chickens)
