Don't even ask how many years of university you need to be something like an ME or pathologist lol mum worked with one senior pathologist I think he had over a decade of tertiary study O_o saying that I have racked up 5 years ...

Forensic science jobs are few and far between, and here in Victoria you can't do CSI unless you're a sworn officer! With my heart condition I can't get into the police force But I did it for 3 reasons
    1) I really love it and it was a great course
    2) Dual major means I am now multi purpose in either science or criminal justice
    3) It will help me later on as I plan on breeding and training dogs for more military/law enforcement applications so I will have experience on both sides of the fence

Nekhbet you just need to move. You can do crime scene and forensics work in NSW as an unsworn officer. Better pay too.

I've mostly worked in boarding kennels, though good ol mum made me do a secretarial course straight out of school so have floated back to office work every so often so as to earn better money. Would never last long - can't stand sitting at a desk so would float back to kennel work; shit doesn't argue with you or talk back etc.

Finally got into a training kennel did my Cert III, then married into a ready made family and quit work to move to an area big enough for my own dogs but had to drive skids to school and back.

I've now got my own little base of really nice clients and only work at the kennels during peak times.

Oh also I sometimes help out a window cleaning mate, so hang off the sides of building in BMU.

My dream would be to have a cattery, not as much hard physical work as dogs, just not sure what the customers would think driving up seeing a bunch of sighthounds.
