Red Dog - Make sure you have tissues at the ready. I cried from start to finish.
Owning a dog should be a partnership. Much like a good marriage it should be based on love, trust and devotion until death do you part.

Oldish 2003 but good, Danny Deckchair, funniest aussie movie I have ever watched. This bloke ties himself to a deckchair full of balloons and just floats away lol.

    Totally loved Outrageous Fortune.
All of them but especially the Van character.
Don't know how the production dates pan out but I believe "Shameless" UK and US versions have copied this series.

US version is called "Scoundrels" and apparently it's not very good at all. Have to say Munter was my fave along with falani. lol

Took me about 5 episodes before i realised Van and Jethro where the same bloody bloke. He's a good actor.

Go the 'Mighty munt' and the 'Vanatron'. I could easily spend a few days with those lads, would be a wild time for sure.

And a night with Pascalle wouldnt be too bad either.......

Agreed on the UK/US thing! Skins UK was awesome. I couldn't even tolerate one full episode of Skins US

    Comedy

    Team America
: Insanely funny and very politically incorrect.

Ace Ventura: Jim Carrey is so talented and a crack up. The plots are pathetic but don't care.

    Something About Mary
: That scene where Ben Stiller gets his parts caught in the zipper, it had my teenage son on the floor unable to breath...

Black Adder: The dry wit and absurd plots.

The IT Crowd: British series about an IT crew and their nerdy habits.

    Action

    Band Of Brothers box set.

Reach For The Sky, Dam Busters, Battle Of Britain, Sink The Bismark and so on. The plots are all very patriotic and full of heroism. May not be accurate representations but still interesting and entertaining.

Das Boot: German film about a U-Boat crew. Don't watch if you are claustrophobic.

    Murder Mystery

Sherlock Holmes: The old black and white series with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce.

    Documentary

Time Team: Love anything to do with archaeology. Though Baldric as a host still cracks me up.

Trawlermen: "The popular series Trawlermen, about the often dangerous lives of trawler fishermen in Peterhead, Scotland, SBS ONE."

Harry Butler: For me, this guy was the the catalyst for Australian environmental documentaries and the others that followed..

    Les Hiddens

    Malcom Douglas
