    Default OH rant...

My Beloved OH got a professional hair cut today in preparation to go to 5 star restaurant on Monday. When he got I home I was ready to kill some one. He had basically just had a number 3 length buzz cut! It was poorly done with noticeable stray hairs and I asked him to get something nice so we could go out looking extra nice as a couple. He looks like a A grade thug. If I didn't know him and saw him in a dark ally I would run for my life. What worse is he admitted to asking for it!!

I am fuming. Don't get me wrong he's a good looking guy but he had a mullet this morning so he had plenty of hair to work with in stead he came home looking horrid.

I am seriously considering cancelling the reservation as I am a little embarressed to be seen in such a posh place with him in his current state. The restaurant is has a full french Menu, raving reviews, in-fact it is one of the highest quality Restaurants in Perth and know for being very upper class.
I didn't realize it was so much to ask him to get a nice sophisticated hair cut for the first high quality evening I have had since my year 10 dance which was 7 years ago!
I have my Mum looking after my son, the pets will have in home sitters, we are staying at a 5 star resort for two nights and we are meant to be eating out at a posh Restaurant. And it may all be ruined over a stupid hair cut.

    Not happy

    Rant over...

My partner doesn't get professiona hair cuts. It's either unruly or all over with the clippers. Personally I would still go out in public with him looking like that. You have been together for a long time, it's only hair. It will grow back. And to be honest, if you wanted him to get a sophisticated haircut, you probably should have gone with him and told the hairdresser yourself. Men have no clue. I am not a posh resturaunt kind of gal, I wouldn't know what fork to use for what dish lol. Give me a steak house or seafood lol. Go and enjoy your time alone together without your son.

I'm sorry lol, I can understand it sort of, my hair just goes to natural dreads anyway and I clipper it off when it gets to messy.

I had a nice haircut when I was 14 I think, but still ended up dreads in about 3 months.
If you find yourself going through hell; Don't stay. Just keep on going.
    Beau.

It's hair, hopefully it won't be on the "posh" menu or in the soup, there are plenty of very well known and respected people with a "buzz/crew" style cut lol in fact there are a ton of sexy guy's with them, try and relax and enjoy the time you have together some people would kill for just one night together..................

normally I wouldn't mind and normally I would clipper it myself (I do a better job to) but he made the appointment himself, he promised to get an extra Special haircut because we are going somewhere extra nice and have a kid free retreat. I can't even salvage what has been done to his head unless i make him completely Bald.
I think he was going for his old Army Cadet look but it has been completely botched between him and the hairdresser

Edit this isn't even A Nice Buzz or crew cut I could have lived with that, but they have just shaved his head with a single short length

Lol I'm the opposite, I always nag mind to shave it all off! I love a shaven head! Lol

Don't let the hair ruin your night, get him to go to another place and see if they can clean it up for him! It is only hair and will grow back! Spending alone time with your other half is more important than worrying about how he looks. He's a man after all, if you want it done right you've got to be there! Lol

buy him a toupe lol. At least he has hair. I love shaved heads. My partner has it shaved at the moment. And like Kdee said, plenty of people don't get the opprtunity to spend time together. My exhusband was (andstill is) in the military. We didnt' spend too many wedding anniversaries together.

Ha, ha. When i was in my 20's i had long sun bleached blonde straight surfers hair that the chickies loved. It payed of well until i shaved it all off because my own mate saw me walking down the road from behind with my G.F at the time and he commented to the bloke he was with too "look at these 2 chicks". It was a real uncomfortable conversation because he had to admit he thought i was a chick and i felt embarrased for been mistaken for a chick so it was all of with the clippers. NO.1.
My girl at the time was shocked and said i looked like a chemo patient. From then on i shaved my head for about 10 years until my wedding last year. I'm a fan of the skin head and it does kinda make ya look a bit staunch.

Oh, and Beau, while i'm thinking of it you look just like my cousins boyfriend with dreads. He was telling me he once got a wire BBQ brush stuck in his hair and couldnt get it out for hours !! LOL...

Urgh, buzz cuts, my OH has to keep his hair super short for work... He's a security guard who looks like a criminal, I nearly cry every time I get out the clippers.

Shaved heads look good on some guys... others just look like they are going to rob you.
