Hi all so sorry for taking so long to reply to this thread it has been hectic. The day we left to go to the hotel we checked the mail and found a 60 days to move out from the real estate agent! So for the last 2 months I have been dealing with Chrissy, the new year, My son's 4th B-day AND finding a new house lol.

As for how the proposal went guess...

LOL it needs to be re-sized but it is 14 carat yellow gold, white gold and with Diamond detail. Amethyst is my birth stone and my favorite stone. He picked it out himself just in time for Christmas.

No date set yet but we hope to be setting a date later this year

We have been trying to get another place for awhile as the place we are in is falling apart, I just wasn't expecting to have to do it so close to Christmas.

It's OK today I got the call that we got a lovely 4x2 rental on 1 acre. It is a newly built farm house that has been separated from the rest of the land and is being rented out. It is right away from the road, our neighbors for as far as the eye can see are cows, And best of all my lovely Gypsy will be allowed inside as there are no carpets only hardwood floors and tiles I will post more pics when we move in in the next few weeks it really is gorgeous.

The only downside is the neighbors (the cows lol) are prone to jumping the fence when the fence isn't hot lol so Just have to watch Gypsy doesn't harass them as the farmer is known for shooting dogs who chase his stock. But Gyp is really good so I am not really worried. She has seen cows before and never bothered with them
It has been a really good new year for us. and will only get better when the planning begins

That place is so cute! If worst comes to worst and she becomes naughty you can always fence of a bit of the yard for her too! Our neighbours just got 2 week old calves and even though the dogs have seen cows before go off at them every time they are near the fence... they are darling little things though

We have an invisible fence system that she respects so we are going to set it to teach her the boundaries and have her inside at night should nip any problems in the bud from word go.

Lol, mines the same but with clothes. He's a kiwi boy, grew up hunting, diving, running about on the farm and before i met him he had never owned a labeled dress shirt in his life. I've bought him lots of dress clothing (pants, shirts, a shirt) yet he insists on wearing his daggy shorts and singlets with holes in him (can even see his undies) so they mostly sit in the wardrobe, gathering dust. Saturday afternoon we had a buisness meeting to go to, and like always i ask him to dress nicely (buisness attire) and he will come out T-shirt and Jeans. I've learnt to let him be at least he made the effort in choosing clothing that didn't have holes in them. Lol so yes it can be frustrating, they will always go and do the opposite of what you ask, thinking the decision they made was "exactly what you've asked for" but at the end it doesn't really matter

I cant believe the prices people pay for hair cuts! Especially every 6-8 weeks.

My OH has a pair of clippers in the bathroom and he gives himself a number 1 every 10 days or so. And I might cut my hair once a year - as a result of this my hair is halfway down my back almost lol. Also, I bye dye fromt he supermarket and I make the OH dye my hair coz its too long to do myself lol
