Just try to keep busy , if you need to cry then cry...like have a really good cry ( somehow after a cry I'd feel better for awhile) when you find yourself thinking about him quickly shut it down and throw some other thoughts in there , ie ; think about things you need to do at work,or with the dogs etc . Like I said, theres no real cure and I still miss mine very much at times ( the good times we were together anyway) but it does slowly get easier with time. ((hugs))

And as for Sean and Rayzor lol!
If we get the easiest end of the stick why is it that I can still miss parts of our life together but he's fine.In fact he's so fine he got married last weekend.None of us were invited ( or even told about it-thanks facebook) not even his 11 year old son . So I'd say he's doing pretty well .

edit to add - and I forgot,he is also expecting another child, she's 3 months pregnant,he's doing damn fine
i dont think you wanna see pic of either sean or myself in somthing short, and tight.........

without knowing the history, he sounds like a douche.......... but you dont know that he is fine, yes he is married with a kid on the way.....maybe thats the reason for the wedding? maybe internally he is going into melt down?

i know when i fight with the mrs, it bugs the crap outta me till we both get over it, we're both stubborn as hell, even if im out with my mates, working on the car, doing whatever, it still bugs me......... jsut cos things appear one way on the surface....they may not be.....

I have often thought it would be easier to be a lesbian! Only a woman knows what a woman wants!! But bein a sucker for punishment, I do love my bloke. I guess we like to make it hard for ourselves!!!

But seriously, especially for you AussieMyf7 and ClareBear, you are both strong. Chicks are, we are resillient and deal with lots of crap! When your boyfriend gets home, and the novelty of his return home wears off, you will say" oh when are you due to go again?..I get lonely and dramatic too, totally understand!

Not one of those short haired muscle shirt wearing ones but a 'real' one. You know like in all those movies !
My clothes would be all be mini skirts, boob tubes and thigh high 'F' me boots.
I think the heat is getting to me.

Men and women simply have different areas of the brain devoted to different things. It is a well researched fact that women use many, MANY more words in a day than men. It's also generalisable that men do not have the same proportion of their brain devoted to emotion. The brain is still a primitive muscle, and the differences have been posited to go back to hunter-gatherer society. Men did not talk whilst hunting... And women did not require the same visuo-spatial abilities in camp as the men did.

I think I must be the 'odd woman out' here... Whenever I have been in a relationship, I have always loved the times we have been apart... Times when I can indulge in the things that fall by the wayside when together. Its a joke in my family that my preferred guy would spend 80% of the time in another country!

I've been criticised by many guys for not calling enough, and wandering off to do my own thing. And my personal favorite: 'you don't NEED me, do you?'. My response of 'no, I don't need you, just enjoy being with you' was never enough. Go Figure.

So you broke up 6 months ago and she is 3 months pregnant so it is safe to say he had moved on after 3 months? It took him 3 months to find someone new after 12 years with you? WTF, by the sounds of that you are lucky to be rid of him doll!
Owning a dog should be a partnership. Much like a good marriage it should be based on love, trust and devotion until death do you part.
