Glad you enjoy having the little ones over.
We are empty nesters also but no grandkids yet.

We did have my younger brother and family come to stay in August.
The kids are 6 & 4 years old and it was lovely to have happy little children jumping around laughing again.

I hope they stay with us again next year.

    Ohhh yes there is.
Wake up feeling that 7 year old grandie is sleeping jammed as close as possible to your back as it is his turn to sleep with Nana Monster and his dad says he has been sleeping like that most of the night( son had to pass me to get to the loo)

I sleep on a sofa bed in the family room when visiting. Hubby takes over one of the grandie's beds as it is more comfortable for him and names are drawn out of a bowl for the sequence of who gets to sleep in my bed with me.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.
